Below are genuine comments received from customers, and please note that I always follow up my orders with the question "did I do it right?" and some of these are in response to that question - names are removed to ensure anonymity!

Book: The Travelling Grave and Other Stories by HARTLEY, L. P.

This has been by far one of the most pleasant and personal book buying experiences via the internet I have had since around 1999 when I first started using a home computer. As the internet evolves and every Tom, Dick, and Harry has seen how relatively easy it is to buy books cheap and then re-sell them over the internet I have had more than my fair share of clunker experiences which include inaccurate descriptions, bizarre packing materials, outrageous shipping fees and just plain rude sellers who have called me extremely unkind names when I dare to voice my dissatisfaction.

Happily, you will never be included in that padded cell of ruffians and lunatics who call themselves internet "booksellers." You are a true Bookman of the highest order. It was delight to receive such gracious and friendly service from your handsomely designed email to let me know the book was on is way to the personal note included with the very well packed book. The book itself - L.P. Hartley's Travelling Grave - is smashing and I think in much better condition than a mere G/G. And it was quite a bargain to boot! I can't rave about this transaction enough except to add that I more than likely will be stopping by again.

Thanks so much for saving internet bookselling from the wild heathens and making it the urbane and pleasant business it should be.

Yes, I received my book. I placed the order (ID: XXXXX) on your site on Aug 7th and I received the book here in Copenhagen just a few days later. It absolutely matched your description. Book: White Light by RUCKER, Rudy

I did indeed receive the book today. Thank you very much for the speedy delivery and I was pleasantly surprised to find it in what I would consider 'as new' condition rather than just 'fine'. It was especially appreciated as the previous edition of 'White Light' I sourced via Alibris, from the USA and returned the same day, was described as 'new' and turned out to be an early '80s edition of 'reading copy' quality. I often buy 'reading copy' and 'poor' editions but it is always nice to know what I'm buying before I open the package! Thanks again for the good service and I'll bookmark your site along with the other reliable vendors I use.
